What is a virtual tour?
A virtual tour gives one the feeling of attending an open house without leaving the privacy of your own home! Select a room to view, and the virtual tour will pan a full 360° of the room!
Is the 360° view created with a video camera?
No. 661Tours uses a Single Lens Reflex (SLR) digital camera that captures a series of images to construct the full 360° image.
How does someone locate my virtual tour online?
Your virtual tour may be linked to your company's Web site. You may link the tour to your own personal Website. The link may also be emailed.
How long will it be before my virtual tour is completed?
The photographer will contact you to set up an appointment within one business day of placing your order. The appointment time is generally 2 to 5 business days after the order is placed. Generally the tour is completed within one to two business days after the photography has been completed.
If the listing sells before my virtual tour is online, will I receive my money back?
If the virtual tour has been cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot, you will receive a full credit towards your next virtual tour. If cancelled within 24 hours you will be charged $25.00. If the work has already been done, you will be charged to cover the cost of the photographer.
Does the agent or homeowner need to be present when the tour is being photographed?
Yes. Due to safety and liability reasons, either the agent or homeowner (over the age of 18) must be present when the tour is being photographed.
What happens after the listing is sold?
When the listing is removed from the Web site that it is posted on, the virtual tour will not appear on the Web site any longer.
Does the virtual tour expire?
Yes, the virtual tour will expire after 365 days. However, tours can be renewed by calling our friendly representatives. Our office number is (661) 378-3700.
Does a room combination, i.e. a living room / dining room count as one or two virtual tour shots?
If the photographer takes one photo for both rooms, it will count as one view only.
It would only count as two rooms if two photos were taken.

I don't have an MLS number, can I still order a tour?

I don't have a personal website, can I still order a tour?
Yes. The virtual tour may be linked to a variety of national listing sites for maximum exposure.
You may also email tours to potential clients..
Can I post my virtual tour to the MLS®?
Yes. After the tour is processed, we will email you the virtual tour link. Use this URL to link to any site that you choose, including the MLS.

CD tours also available for marketing.
What if my MLS® number changes?
Provide us with your new MLS number and we'll relink your virtual tour for free.
How do I prepare for the virtual tour photo shoot?
Hide everything! Spacious, clean, and brightly lit rooms show the best. The property should be as free from obscuring decorations and everyday objects as possible. Here are some tips of things to look for:
Bathrooms will not normally be photographed unless there are special features so this is a good place to hide stuff.
Keep in mind: If a scene is to be shot in the front of the house, avoid scheduling on trash day and remove cars from the driveway and front of the house if possible. Remove toys, strollers, and other personal items from the yard as well.
For safety and security, homeowners are responsible to secure pets and all valuables during the photo shoot. Additionally, owners and agents are responsible to ensure that the property is in sufficient condition for shooting by the scheduled time. The virtual tours will not be re-photographed due to condition of the property. The photographers are not permitted to clean up or move items at the site.
Virtual Tour Order Completion Timeline
Upon receipt of the email confirmation indicating that a virtual tour order has been successfully submitted, a 661 Tours photographer will make contact with the client within two business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to schedule the virtual tour shoot and to determine what interior rooms (and/or exterior areas) are to be photographed.
Once the virtual tour has been shot, the photographs will be available for posting to any website(s) within two business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Notwithstanding the foregoing, every effort will be made to post photographs within a 24-hour period.
As soon as a virtual tour has been completed, the client will receive notification of such by email. A URL link enabling instant access to the virtual tour will be included with this email.
If the client does not receive a "completion of virtual tour order" email by the two-business day deadline as defined above, please contact the Virtual Tour program coordinator or the 661 Tours customer service department at (661) 378-3700 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday, or you may reply by email to: service@661tours.com.
Cancellation, No Show, Reschedule, Retake, Inclement Weather Policy
If the property has been sold and 661 Tours is provided with proof of such sale more than 24 hours before the scheduled shoot, the cancellation fee will be waived.
Any virtual tour order cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance of the scheduled shoot will incur a $25.00 fee. Any virtual tour order cancellation must be made through the Virtual Tour program coordinator or by contacting the 661 Tours customer service department at (661) 378-3700 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday.
Either the client, an authorized representative appointed by the client, or the homeowner must attend the shoot. If the photographer arrives at the property and the designated person is not in attendance by the appointed time, a $35.00 no-show fee will be charged. If the designated person is unable to attend the shoot, and the photographer is granted permission to enter the property, the decision to complete the shoot will be at the photographer's sole discretion. If the photographer elects not to shoot the property, this decision will be binding and has been made based on safety and liability concerns. The $35.00 no-show fee will apply in this case. The appointment may be rescheduled for a later date, but a reschedule fee of $25.00 will also apply.
To reschedule a virtual tour shoot, contact the Virtual Tour program coordinator, your 661 Tours photographer, or the 661 Tours customer service department at (661) 378-3700 between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday, no less than 24 hours in advance of the original appointment. If the tour cannot be rescheduled at that time, the order will be canceled and a $10.00 processing fee will apply. If you reschedule within 24 hours of the original appointment, a $25.00 rescheduling fee will be charged.
If the appearance of any photograph is unsatisfactory, 661 Tours will review it to determine whether a retake is necessary and who will incur the expense of the retake. 661 Tours reserves the right to have the final decision on such retake requests. Retakes based on issues other than photo quality are subject to an additional $35.00 fee if the client was not present at the original shoot. Retakes necessary due to quality issues clearly resulting from incorrect camera settings will be retaken at no additional cost. If the client does not personally attend the shoot, this will prevent client’s ability to provide artistic input and will void the right to request retakes for reasons other than quality issues at no additional charge.
Because of safety and liability issues, scheduled shoots may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather at the photographer’s sole discretion. If the shoot is unable to be rescheduled, there will be no charge for the cancellation.
